We bring diverse expertise and backgrounds to advise our clients in the fitness and wellness industry. Each trainer is proficient in creating innovative and progressive exercise programs. Our professional team share common goals to serve our members and provide excellent council.

Jason Lindsay, TPI-CGFI, ACSM-HFS

President

Jason is a graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Biology minor from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Jason is certified by the Titleist Performance Institute as a Certified Golf Fitness Instructor and the American College of Sports Medicine as a Health Fitness Specialist. In 2012, he will complete his second certification from the Titleist Performance Institute making him one of five TPI CGFI2’s in all of North Carolina. Jason’s passion for physiology and biomechanics has led him to work in wellness and strength and conditioning for the past eight years. He has worked in a wellness setting with Carolinas Medical Center and Weddington Chiropractic Wellness Center. His strength and conditioning experience comes from working with NASCAR pit crews and Division I NCAA athletes including baseball, basketball, and golf. Jason’s mission is to provide comprehensive strength and conditioning programs designed to maximize performance, while decreasing the risk of sport related injuries. He specializes in employing the latest techniques used to improve power, speed, balance, and coordination.

Dr. Emily Croft

Chiropractic Physician

Dr. Croft attended New York Chiropractic College where she received her Doctorate and Bachelors of Professional Studies, graduating magna cum laude in 2009.  Prior to attending New York Chiropractic College, she attended Morrisville State College where she received her Associates in Applied Science, majoring in Massage Therapy and became a Licensed Massage Therapist in 2006.

As a member of Sports Science Human Performances, Dr. Croft has participated at various racing events providing pre and post event treatments to competitive athletes. Dr. Croft is trained in treating all ages of athletes for sports related injuries and restoring peak performance. She imparts life long education to her patients while helping to improve their health.

Dr. Croft’s interest in sports rehabilitation has prepared her to work with professional world-class athletes such as golfers, triathletes, competitive cheerleaders, and football players. Her understanding in the importance of a healthy lifestyle encourages her patients to enhance their total health and well being. 

Dr. Croft is currently a member of the American Chiropractic Association and the Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals. Dr. Croft is certified through the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners, as well as the North Carolina Board of Chiropractic Examiners.

Alexandra Arrandt, RYT

Registered Yoga Teacher/ Group Fitness Instructor/ Sports Nutritionist

Alexandra graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from The University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2007, where she found her love for helping others achieve their overall health and wellness goals. In 2010, Alexandra became a Registered Yoga Teacher through Yoga Alliance, a 200hr yoga certification, for All Levels Vinyasa and in 2011 became a certified Sports Nutritionist through International Fitness Association. She is certified by the Red Cross and currently pursuing her ACE Certification to further her knowledge in Personal Training. She began her training experience at UNCC as a certified Group Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer in 2006. She has been training for TOPTEAM Fitness since 2008. Alexandra enjoys challenging clients, of all ages and fitness levels, to obtain their full potential via exciting workouts and proper nutritional guidance.

Michelle Johnson

Certified Personal Trainer/ Group Fitness Instructor

Michelle Johnson attended college at Old Dominion University and graduated with a B.S. in Occupational Technical Studies with a minor in Marketing. She is certified as a personal trainer through American Council on Exercise. She has been working with TOPTEAM Fitness Academy since April 2011. Michelle has always been involved in a variety of physical activities, which led to an interest in becoming a personal trainer. She enjoys working with others and helping them reach their potential in personal fitness.

Devin D. Wright

Certified Personal Trainer/ Group Fitness Instructor

Devin graduated number one in her Exercise Physiology department at Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas. She minored in biology, and recently moved to Charlotte to attend graduate school at the University of North Carolina. Devin is personal trainer certified through the American Council on Exercise and Expert Rating, as well as CPR/AED certified. Through her studies, she has gained the knowledge to understand the health benefits and internal improvements made from exercise, rather than just outward appearance. Devin will not only push her clients to succeed in the gym, but motivate them to fulfill a healthy lifestyle in all aspects of their daily routine.

Tammy Martin

Occupational Therapist/ Group Fitness Instructor

Tammy has been an occupational therapist for almost 20 years and has held certifications/licenses in Assisted Living Administration and Nursing Home Administration. Tammy earned a BS degree in Occupational Therapy from East Carolina University and a MS degree in Healthcare Administration from Capella University. Tammy has spent the majority of her healthcare experience serving the geriatric population in skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, and now in the home health environment. Tammy has held many management positions in the rehabilitation setting and has worked as a nursing home administrator in the Charlotte area. Tammy not only has a love for healthcare but one for wellness also. Tammy is a 2nd degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do from King Tiger Academy in which she has trained for 5 years. Coupled with the martial arts training she also has trained with TOPTEAM Fitness for almost two years. Tammy credits the martial arts and TOPTEAM training for making “40 the new 20” a reality. She enjoys seeing results and inspiring others to be healthy and strong. Tammy is married to John Martin who also trains with her in Tae Kwon Do and TOPTEAM. They have one daughter named Jalyn. Her other hobbies include spending time with family, home decorating, planning events, and assisting her husband in running a non profit organization called YBM Leadership Alliance.

Jada MacLellan

Massage Therapist/ Yin Yoga Certified Instructor

Jada was educated at the Southeastern Institute in Charlotte, North Carolina. Modalities include Swedish massage and Neuromuscular Therapy. She graduated from The University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2003 with a BA in Psychology and was a member of the Coed Varsity Cheerleading Squad. Jada went on to become a professional cheerleader for the Charlotte Bobcats.
